10" square rich fruit cake, covered with marzipan and sugarpaste.
Decorations coloured with edible gold lustre, and inscription hand-piped in royal icing and painted gold with edible gold lustre.

Cruise Ship Cake

Cruise Ship Cake
A surprise cake for the customer's wife. They love cruises, hence the theme of the cake. Her name is Yvonne (hence the name on the cruise ship), but he calls her Eve (hence the inscription!!) 8" rich fruit cake.

The customer askd for "pink, high-heeled shoes, like you get in dressing up sets", plus ballet shoes - because her daughter loves both!

And at the back of the cake, she wanted a little label or tag.
Her daughter loves the silky labels you get in clothes and goes to sleep at night rubbing one against her cheek! How sweet!!!!
