Buttercream Cake

Louise asked for a simple buttercream covered cake for her son's 21st birthday.  I added just a few sugarpaste decorations.  I hope they all enjoyed his special day.

Silver bling cake!

Do not adjust your screen! Yes, this cake is ENTIRELY silver.  When too much bling is not enough, this is pretty much the perfect cake!  I hope Eloise had a fabulous 21st birthday party, celebrating with friends.

Starburst 21st Cake

Starburst 21st Birthday Cake
This was a rather last minute cake - a lovely lady, for whom I'm making a wedding cake in August called me on Friday and explained that her mum had been ill with flu and so hadn't been able to arrange a cake for her brother's 21st birthday (today, Sunday). Was there any way I'd be able to make a cake? I explained that it would have to be one of my more basic designs, but was more than happy with the suggestion of a 'starburst' cake. She nearly went with a blue colour scheme, until I double checked whether he supported a 'red' football team? Phew! Close one!!
