Starburst 21st Birthday Cake
This was a rather last minute cake - a lovely lady, for whom I'm making a wedding cake in August called me on Friday and explained that her mum had been ill with flu and so hadn't been able to arrange a cake for her brother's 21st birthday (today, Sunday). Was there any way I'd be able to make a cake? I explained that it would have to be one of my more basic designs, but was more than happy with the suggestion of a 'starburst' cake. She nearly went with a blue colour scheme, until I double checked whether he supported a 'red' football team? Phew! Close one!!
