Congratulations to Sophie & Jack who were married at the beautiful Chanels Estate.  Their 3 tier wedding cake is truly personal and unique - with edible photos of the happy couple on each face of the hexagonal cakes.

Cupcakes

A dozen cupcakes for the singer of a band.

One of the rare occasions when decorating the cake board takes a lot, lot longer than the cake that's going on it!  But I had to ensure there were 13 stripes - 7 red and 6 white.  And there are 50 stars in the blue square.  Apparently, the birthday boy hasn't been the USA and so his present from his wife was this cake, two tickets and some US$ spending money!  What a wonderful way to celebrate a milestone birthday.

Back To The Future Cake

Back To The Future Cake

Customer's son LOVES the film Back To The Future, so she ordered a cake with an edible image.  I did the inscription to try and mimic the film title and there are little flames all the way around the cake to represent the trail of flames left by the car when it time travels!  9" chocolate orange sponge cake with orange curd and chocolate buttercream filling.

Edible Image Cake

Edible Image Cake
Only a very simple edible image cake, ordered by one of the mums at school for her dad's birthday, but how she shrieked with joy when she saw it, LOL! 11" square on 15" cake drum, to give an idea of size. I wasn't sure how to decorate the sides of the cake, so decided to do dark blue stripes to echo his swimming shorts. To view my full website visit: www.patacake-parties.com
