65th Birthday Cake & Cookies

Just a simple, but elegant birthday cake... the customer wanted a 'nod' to her husband's favourite football team, without it being a 'football cake'. So I suggested doing the decoration and cake board in the team's colours. She also ordered 30 matching cookies.

Liverpool FC Cake

Liverpool FC Cake

Very last minute birthday cake, ordered by my boys' barber when I took them for a hair cut yesterday!

As it was so last minute, I was somewhere limited to what I had in stock to use, but I think this is a great cake, considering!  The bird was hand-cut.

Half Football Cake with Model

Half-Football Cake

For a keen amateur football player, who (according to his wife, who ordered the cake) is rather accident-prone on the pitch! Hence a bandaged ankle and plaster on his knee!

Footballer Close-up

I do love his bandage and little plaster!

Liverpool FC Birthday Cake

Edible image cakes aren't usually my favourite thing... but without blowing my own trumpet, I really like the way this one has turned out. I think the colours really 'pop'.
8" chocolate sponge with chocolate buttercream - for the same customer who ordered the 'Mr Birthday' cake a couple of weeks ago.
