It's always a bit nerve-wracking when you're at the party you've made a cake for, but I'm delighted the birthday girl and all the guests loved it.  This cake was for my dad's wife, whose favourite colours are green and yellow.

I had a wedding consult this afternoon with such a lovely couple (and the bride-to-be's mum!) I'm really looking forward to the cupcake tower of daisy cupcakes - zesty lemon sponge with light lemon Italian meringue buttercream and vanilla sponge filled with vanilla Italian meringue buttercream, topped with a sugarpaste disc. I think it's going to look so pretty, and with 7 tiers full of cupcakes, really impressive, too!!
