12" square vanilla sponge, filled with jam and buttercream, covered with marzipan and sugarpaste.
The Bar-Mitzvah boy LOVES the Simpsons, so we decided to have Bart writing the inscription, as in the opening sequence of the tv show, where he's doing lines on the board. Central panel is an edible image. Bart made from modelling paste, using the jigsaw method.

Edible image cakes aren't usually my favourite thing... but without blowing my own trumpet, I really like the way this one has turned out. I think the colours really 'pop'.
8" chocolate sponge with chocolate buttercream - for the same customer who ordered the 'Mr Birthday' cake a couple of weeks ago.

Very excited that this cake is for the son of an Arsenal premiership football player!
9" vanilla sponge with jam and buttercream covered in marzipan and sugarpaste, topped with a 3D football, made from vanilla sponge and covered in sugarpaste. Scarf made from sugarpaste.

Sometimes, it's not always the all-singing, all-dancing cakes that are impressive. I really do like how this one has turned out. The colours really do 'pop'! And the green gloop (I have no idea what it's supposed to be... my 8 year old son did try to explain, but.... ) almost glows!!!! LOL!! 9" chocolate sponge filled with chocolate buttercream and covered with marzipan and sugarpaste. Logo hand-cut from modelling paste.

Caramel flavour cupcakes, filled with caramel flavour buttercream and topped with a sugarpaste disc and hand-made sugar topper. Witches hats, pumpkins and monster hands!!

Tinkerbell Cake

Tinkerbell Cake
8" egg-free chocolate sponge, filled with buttercream and covered with marzipan and sugarpaste. Tinkerbell is a figurine provided by the customer, but all other decorations hand-made from sugar.
