The customer knew **exactly** how she wanted the cake decorated for her sister and when the birthday girl's husband collected the cake, he said that she is going to LOVE it!

Two tiers of chocolate sponge filled with a chocolate mousse/truffle.  Hello Kitty toppers provided by the customer - leopard print all hand-painted.

 85th Birthday Cake

A rich fruit cake for my Aunt's 85th birthday yesterday.  Decorated with edible Cake Lace and sugar cameos edged with edible pearls and finished with a hand-made sugar peony. This is one of those cakes where the picture just doesn't convey the 'feel' of the cake.  It was so very pretty and I absolutely loved this one!

Mickey Clubhouse Cake

The sun came out again today - just in time for Zakariyya's 1st birthday.  His mum had booked a lovely local hall and had a Disney balloon arch to go over the cake table (which was a 2 tier vanilla sponge filled with jam and buttercream and then covered with marzipan and sugarpaste...  character figures provided by the customer) and filled the room with play mats, toddler toys, etc.  She certainly went all-out to make this a really special day!
