Arsenal Football Shirt Cake

Football Shirt Cake
I was also asked to make a second cake, to represent the back of the shirt, with the name of the birthday 'boy' and a number '40', for his age!

By using edible prints, I was able to perfectly recreate the club shield and the font used for 'Fly Emirates'

Over The Hill Cake (with dentures and swimming pool!)

Over The Hill Cake
This cake 'brings to life' several personal jokes between two sisters.
The cake was commissioned by a lady for her older sister's 40th birthday. The brief was: she wanted a large hill with a very large, pink, glittery 40 on the front. At the bottom of the hill she wanted a blonde lady, sitting by a swimming pool. At the other side of the hill, she wanted some false teeth. And going down the hill, she wanted the word "weeeeeeeeeeeeeee". She also wanted flowers over the hill and cake board.

Drama Masks Cake

Drama Masks Cake
I was asked to come up with a cake idea for a little girl who loves drama and theatre.
These hand-made, edible comedy & tragedy masks are linked with the theatre and so they seemed ideal - especially as her birthday party was a trip to the local theatre. And the red and gold colour scheme gives a real sense of the theatrical!
